I'm a British illustrator. I’ve lived in a lot of places - I grew up in East Sussex, and lived in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oxford and London - and I have now settled in Bristol. I specialise in portraits, using lots of colour and markmaking; editorial work with wit and a hand-drawn feel; and drawings of food and drink. I also work in stop frame animation - using the same brushmarks and vibrancy as my still work, to bring illustrations to life.
I like to pair energy with elegance in my illustrations, by using bold colour and a flowing, hand drawn ink line. This is a versatile aesthetic anchored in the craft of drawing on paper, that suits a range of media, from editorial work to publishing and advertising.
In 2019 I launched my online shop, featuring my bestselling Chicken Shops of London T-shirts and jumpers, plus plenty more illustrated gifts.
I won a D&AD New Blood Award when I graduated.
I’m also a musician. I play the drums and sing, layer harmonies and polyrhythms and aim to always improve my electronic production knowledge.
And I’m a mother to two little boys.
