My first illustration for the LA Times. They asked me to create a portrait of Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana for the film Spencer. I’ve illustrated Kristen before, for the book Queer Heroes, when she had a shaved head. I wanted to use texture and colour to suggest the inner turmoil and pressure the Princess is under in the film.
